Our Story Lorna Van Geem and Ally McCauley followed separate but similar paths on opposite sides of the United States before meeting and becoming friends while pursuing their Master's degrees in Environmental Education at Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon. Both studied biology in college (and spent their summers working in such exciting places as Alaska, China, and Eastern Europe). After graduating and completing their teacher certification, both taught at science museums - Lorna at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle, Washington and Ally at SciWorks Science Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina - before heading to graduate school.
By combining Lorna's lifelong sewing hobby with their mutual passion for wildlife, they created Creatures 4 Kids. Lorna and Ally hope that they can add some fun and wonder to your life (and to your children's) and that they can help foster a love of wildlife that lasts a lifetime!
